CBWW’s Commit to be Fit initiative

On an inordinately cold morning in March, 2013 thirteen staff members of the Center for Black Women’s Wellness climbed to the top of Stone Mountain. The adrenaline that propelled us throughout the journey remained upon return and led to the inception of CBWW’s Commit to be Fit initiative. In June, 2013 a group of 39 participants from the metro-Atlanta area came together for our first expanded group session and that group continued to meet for fitness and fellowship.
